The Association for Process Philosophy of Education invites you, as a philosopher and educator, as a theorist or practitioner, as a scholar or student, to become an active member. You need not share a process perspective to be a member. You should, however, be interested in the theory or application of the process thought of several philosophers, principally Bergson, Dewey, and Whitehead. There are also others whose sense of the creativity of all living beings, the relatedness of all entities in this world, and the pulse of being and becoming contributes to the development of process philosophy and its implications for educating. As a member of APPE you will have the opportunity to meet, discuss, share papers, publish your thinking about process philosophers, their philosophies, and the connections between philosophy and educational theory and practice. Your membership and participation will be most welcome.    

APPE publishes a journal, Process Papers, annually. APPE also publishes a Newsletter in October, February, and May. 

Annual dues are $20.00 US, including a subscription to Process Papers and the Newsletter. Money orders or checks drawn on a US bank should be sent to:
